My husband did such a wonderful job on this coop that houses our 10 hens - 2 Light Brahms (the most gentle and love to be held) 2 Red Stars (next most gentle easy to catch and bring into the garden) 2 Silver Lace Wyandottes, 2 Single Comb Brown Leghorns (really shy) 2 Americanas and a Lakenvelder Rooster (which is another post within itself). It has a outside nesting box on the back and a run attached to left hand side. We should have added a little more in the way vents - but I close the door to the outside pen and open the door and the nest box lid and air it out in the evening which is working fine. We used plans from the internet and unfortunately didn't take pictures when it was being built. I wanted to add the shingles for character and went all out with the French Lilac color for the trim.
If it isn't chocolate - it better be bacon
