Last Wednesday our chicks arrived in the mail. We ordered 5 Speckled Sussex pullets and one Speckled Sussex roo and 5 Silver Laced Wyandotte pullets and one SLW roo. They arrived in good shape except one SLW. It arrived very listless and droopy. It also was having difficulty walking. We managed to nurse it back to health in a couple of days by forcing electrolytes and encouraging it to eat. It seems to be doing well now although it isn't gaining weight as fast as the others. It has a lot of spirit so I have high hopes for the little girl (I think it's a pullet but not positive.) I guess time will tell.
