Our first egg, from the chick hubby saved and nursed back to health

Our first egg! Yay! We even got a second one the day after. From the poor chick who ended up with a neck/head injury/strain and hubby nursed her back to health. We named her Warden, due to the fact we call our pen Fowl Penitentiary, coop Cell Block F, The Run, Infirmary (nesting boxes) and the girls Inmates lol this is all from the baby chicks sleeping like murder scenes

Hubby was like ha! Lol

I'm very proud of your inmates laying in the infirmary! My first egg was hid under the penitentiary! I had to crawl on my hands and knees in the mud to get it and got rammed by a goat for being so silly and crawling around on the ground! Needless to say, the inmates got locked up in Cell Block F for a few days until they got it right. They also had their visitation privileges from the goats revoked.
