Our FIRST egg!

I was sure surprised to see an egg in the coop when I tucked the girls in for the night. I did a double-take when I saw it!







The girls: Phoebe and Rachel (4.5 months old - Blue Swedish)

My pekin layers will get a lighter orange on their beaks as they lay, but i dont know if the same is true for your Blues

we just found our very first egg yesterday from one of our female ducks,we are acting like kids on xmas day.we dont know if we shoulkd take it or leave it,she built a pretty little nest and the egg is right in the middle.we have two females and two males.so we dont know if its fertile.lol what should we do?
