Our first turkey eggs

My BBB hen (who is now a pet) just laid her first few eggs!!!

She is 31 weeks old. I took a pic of turkey, duck, and chicken eggs together and brought it in to show off at work. My co-workers tolerate my poultry obsession and when they seem tired of it I bribe them with fresh eggs!

BTW, she is squatting whenever someone drives up and gets out of their car. The UPS man is getting a good laugh out of it.

Up til today we had 7 hens doing the squat and laying those very pretty eggs. I kept my two favorite hens Eva and Gracie but they will have to go soon too.

I sure will miss them when they are gone. We sell those turkey eggs to help pay for their upkeep. They are awesome birds.
