So we have taken the plunge and our "babies" arrived today. We have 17 chicks - mixed breeds: Rhode Island Reds, Barred Rocks, Black Australorps, Auracauna, Buff Orps, and Golden Laced Wyandottes. They are a couple days old. We ordered from 'Healthy Chickens and More' and I have to say...they arrived very quickly and all look very healthy!
We are now trying to play around with the right placement of the heat lamp to ensure the right temp...
