Sounds like you have your hands full -- and a great set-up! Land, a farmhouse, chickens, ducks, dogs, cats and all the best stuff that comes with living in the country. Do you do some gardening, too?

While you have two Yorkies who think they are livestock guardians, I have one Great Pyr who has no interest in the job; she is a guardian failure/oversized house pet. You are sooo lucky.

Yes, we have a couple of large garden spots. Now that we have the chickens I'm looking forward to using the fertilizer they provide to keep the garden healthy.
