He is one of our two surviving birds from our weasel incident and this morning we heard him crow for the first time. The first time was a little odd and he looked at us and our pullet took off to the other side of the brooder. Then he crowed again and started strutting around the brooder crowing. Sixteen times in under five minutes was the last count. Hes a little Buff Bantam Brahma, just under 8 weeks old (53 days), and as proud as he can be.
