Our Meyer Order - How did I do this time?

Back now posting the lot of ‘em! I wanted 8 pullets of different breeds and so it made total sense to order 16 right? After some analyzing, ok obsessing, of threads here and the Meyer site, my assignments are at the end along with our order.





1.White Leghorn
2.Buff Orpington
3. Silver Laced Wyandotte
4. Black Australorp
5. Easter Egger (thanks for clearing this up in my last thread!)
6. Blue Andalusian
7. Gold Laced Wyandotte
8. White Crested Black Polish (maybe blue?) & a chipmunk! Speckled Sussex?

Thank you! We had our first flock 2 years ago just from TSC grabbing anything. Everyone here was so helpful. They went to live at my in-laws when we moved a state away. I could not wait have chickens again!

Oh they are soooo adorable! Thank you for tagging me! I have such chick fever! The chipmunk could be Welsummer or Speckled Sussex I think looking at their rare breed list. You should be able to tell once the wing feathers start coming in…if there’s white dots it’s a Sussex! (The only other thing it could be is one of their hybrid colored egg layers, but without greenish legs I would doubt it is).

Oh thank you for that tip, I’ll be on the lookout for the dots then. Now that I’ve figured out what everyone is, hopefully I can enjoy them for a little while before stressing there’s boys that slipped in here I definitely understand chick fever!

I placed this order in February and they shipped exactly on the date I chose. I ordered extras partly in case some didn’t make it and I’m happy to say they seem very healthy! We’ll see how it turns out in a few weeks with the accuracy of the sexing.

Did you figure out what the chipmunk one is? I ordered a colorful egg mix from Meyer and I have 3 just like that. Cream legbar?
