After losing one of our girls last week, we decided to get a couple new girls for our flock. Thanks to Tonya's kindness, we have two new additions - Petunia the barred rock and Harlow the black sex-link. They are both super sweet! They are about 6-8 weeks old.
We brought them home yesterday.... today we put them in an ex-pen in the yard, and let our older 2 girls free range around. Clem is our top girl, and doesn't seem to mind them, but Lola clearly want to come out above the new girls in the pecking order - she gave Petunia a peck on the head.... but mostly just eyed them.... I'm going to keep them separate for at least 2-3 weeks...
They have very quickly taken to Noah! He was hanging out in their run with them for a while, and they both fell asleep in his lap!
