Our new ducks from Metzers are here!

We have been anxiously waiting and today our ducks arrived!




There are five of us in our family so everyone picked one kind of duck and we got two of that kind. We will have such a beautiful mixed flock! Unfortunately one of the ducklings didn't make it more than a few hours after getting them home.

Hopefully the others will be ok. They seem to be active and eating/drinking ok. The bummer of it is that the one we lost was one my youngest daughter had picked out. She was so relieved to hear Metzers will send her a replacement. Wish us luck on the rest!!

Oh, they are so adorable! Thank goodness you guys will be getting a replacement. You sure look like a good variety of a flock there, what breeds did you end up picking out?
