This is Marley... We believe he is an alligator lizard but aren't positive... If anyone knows for sure that would be super helpful so we know that we're feeding him correctly and housing him in an appropriate habitat

Actually, he looks like my Giant African Plated Rainbow Lizard-----not sure if the order of the words is correct, but you can google African Rainbow Lizard. I feed mine the dubia roaches----you can order from theroachguy.com (great prices compared to a pet-store, especially if you start your own colony like I did). You can also feed it super-worms or canned cat food, but mine prefers the roaches. They are very easy to care for.
