We just finished our second chicken tractor. 6x6x2 - built from reclaimed barn lumber and some donated lumber and pallets. We bought the hardware cloth. The bottom is 2x4 welded wire, to let them scratch the ground.
The part the nesting boxes and food and water will go in is made from pallets.
