Our Orpington's first egg

The leghorns have been laying for a while now but today our Orpington laid her first egg! It's weirdly exciting to get a different egg color. Can't wait until the Easter eggers start laying too

I can't wait To be honest, it was my husband who insisted in easter eggers for the colored eggs. I didn't understand the appeal, but I definitely do now lol

I had commented back in July on this when ours were at 15 weeks. We got our first egg today at 1 day shy of 21 weeks!
