Woooohoooo our Pekin eggs from our own ducks are pipped! I can hear them peeping and they sound soooooooooo cute!! I'm supposed to sell these so I don't want to fall in love but I think its too late! LOL

They're in with my goose eggs and some of them are internally pipped now. Humidity went all the way up to 98% and I had to open the incubator and remove the sponge in there and open the vents. No drowning ducks and geese babies. So I had to peek at my goose eggs. LOL Bad mama! Lid is closed, humidity is back down to 82%.

I'm soooooooooooooo excited. And mostly because they're from our own Pekins!

Congratulations...

Although it really getting too late over here to be setting eggs- my Pekin Crumpet is still laying...and since I am keeping the incubator on for some Quail eggs- I have decided to put in some more duck eggs as well. I have raised all the other ducklings so far over the last few months and sold them after 4 weeks- but this time I plan to advertise them at 3 days old..It will be so hard to say goodbye when they are so tiny still- But I seriously need to have some time with no brooder box in my lounge room.

They are just so cute when they first hatch... I hate to waste those little eggs.... I am actually hoping everyone stops laying soon - I think its the only way I will ever be able to turn off my incubator...

You gotta put up some pics of those ducklings and goslings when they hatch

yay!!! wish me luck on my hatch in 28 days, o why do i love ducks so much???????
