This is a drawn up plan of the existing coop design, and the plans for our new coop and runs. We are trying to seperate the breeds, and include new watering designs. Hope this works, and is not too hard to understand.
This is what we have now.
This new coop, will be added on the south end of the existing run.
Design for inside of new coop. The 55 gallon water drum will collect rain water through a gutter system on the outside and has a tap on the inside that I will be able to open to the continous "trough" through all pens. There will be doors inside each pen for me to get in there to clean and gather eggs.
Starting from the left.... 4 Langshans, next pen Silver Pheonix ( 2) , next pen Polish ( 1 roo for now) and the last pen Banty Cochin Frizzles 2 hens 1 roo...6 babies. Let me know what you think, and as we start to build, I will get pics.
