Our Shed with an identity Crisis PICS!

I finally got my coop pics up. We started with 6 Silkies. Only 2 were girls so we rehomed the boys. The smaller coup is our bantam coop. I have a Brahma in the brooder to join the girls soon.

The larger coop is for the 8 standard girls still in the brooder. Dh still has to finish the nest boxes and perch. We got 2 free Anderson windows and he put those in for me. We haven't got the run completed yet either.

What are the dimensions of your shed? I'm in the process of designing
a dual purpose shed/barn just like yours. It looks Great. Post more pics

The shed is 12x16. What would you like more pics of? I will add them to my page? I had to leave enough room for the lawn tractor in the winter.

I love the way you have the main seperation wall. I'm unclear
how you have the run and eggboxes set up. Does that run go
all the way down the right side? How do the chickies get to the boxes?
Is that a brooder box in addition to the egg boxes? Got any sketches?
The 12x16 size is perfect. GREAT JOB!!!

The brooder is in the house. The smaller coop houses my silkies and the covered run goes down the right side, I believe about 10 ft, not all the way back. The larger, clean, coop is for the standards. The door to the run is not cut yet. It will be on the same side as the bantam run. i'll get you a photo of that


There are 2 nest boxes in the bantam coop but they won't use them. i just lowered them to the floor yesterday. The other box that sits on the floor is another nest box and so far the only one they will use.

Nop no sketches, we fail or succeed as we go!

I added 4 new photos. Hopefully they will help. I'll have to rework the page a little, they went on at the top.

The last new photo show where the opening to the standard coop will go, the whole area there will be fenced in to become the standard run.

No run for the standards or is that something in progress?
