Chowder is in need of a good home. He's so sweet but too loud for our neighbors. We're in PA, also near NJ and DE. He's about 16 weeks old

In the meantime you can try a rooster collar. It does help somewhat. If he's not an all day crower, sometimes keeping them in the dark til a few hours in to morning helps.

He does have the mesh collar which definitely muffles. He has been giving 2-3 crows in the morning once I let them out into the run around 7/7:30. He doesn't wake my husband but if you're awake or outside you'll definitely hear him. We've had issues with a mystery neighbor over other very petty things so it makes me nervous as Roos aren't allowed. Ofc when we got our chicks they were "all female sexed" .....sure! Now we're in love. We've been trying for months to find a home before he started crowing and now I'm desperate

I'll take any and all suggestions. At 5:44 this morning, still in the coop, he let out e crows and that was after snugging up the collar yesterday

I live in North Jersy, I know a couple places you can rehome your roo, but one place your roo might end up of the table.
