Our white french black copper maran

We hatched this chick out from our very own french black copper marans eggs. We are certain that it is a purebred french black copper but are a bit confused why it is white. It has white feather legs that the legs themselves are darker gray. She is all white and no pink eyes. Hatched 3/10/13

Gee, I'm sorry I am not at all familiar with the Marans - was the rooster a pure bred also? You might want to post on the breed & genetics section. Or find a Marans thread and post a photo of your chick.

I think it is possible that she is a White french mutant black copper maron. The rooster and hens that these eggs came from are french black copper marans 100%. Both of our roosters are copper and black in color.
