Out of my 5 chicks I hatched, 2 are roos.. experiences?

My little ones are now 3 weeks old and I can already tell 2 are roos, (they are all bantams) one of my Mille Fleur D'uccle and my only Mottled Cochin. who barely has feather he is still all fluff, and he has smelled like candy since he's hatched, weird

Anyway, of course they boss each other. like a lot lately, Mottled seems a little more bossy.
I really do not want go get rid of them. The only other roo I had which was an all white bearded D'uccle started out sweet them puberty hit and he would come at me every chance he got. which wasn't dangerous he was tiny but it was annoying.

anyone have either of those breeds as a roo and what is your experience with them?

I had both for awhile but ended up with 9 crowers so I had to get rid of them. They were noisy but nice birds.

No experience with either breed but candy boy would have to stay, no way around that.

A lot depends on your space, number of other birds, your head rooster, and luck. Always know that roosters are a crap shoot, and the more numbers of roos, the less likely it will work.

Nice roosters are a pleasure to have, and idiots who attack aren't. Observe their behavior as they grow, and read beekissed's article about rooster management too. I don't try to cuddle and hand feed my cockerels; they need to get out of my path and concentrate on their flockmates, not me.
To keep them both, you need a large enough flock, and enough space, so they are less likely to fight over limited territory, and overstress the pullets and hens.
You will have some idea how things go this fall, and then in spring, there may be a lot more drama. Be ready!

I have a good size flock 6 females 3 are not bantams one is a light Brahma and she is actually sharing a ln xlarge dog crate in my office. Have since they have hatched she is a couple weeks older than them and they have taken to her like she is their mom
My NH red who is little over 3 years and cuckoo maran who just got to egg laying age

I also have 4 ducks under 1 year who are with my 4 oldest chickens and they get along great

The noise I am not worried about as my neighborhood is filled with roos and no one is bothered by them

My last roo who turned out to be a jerk i only had 2 chickens at the time both girls
