Out of town

I am going out of town for a week. I got my aunt and cousin to come and take care of my ducks while I'm gone. What do all of you usually do when you go on vacation? I'm just nervous about my ducks being okay while I'm gone.

I would definitely write out your instructions! That way there's no misunderstandings and if they forget something they can check your list.

Don't depend on people to care for your critters as well as you do. There's been some disasters that BYC members have written about . So make sure you make lists and tell them how easily birds can get in trouble or get sick or die if they're not cared for right.
