Outside for the first time! And apparently scared to move a muscle...

Ok, my chicks are outside within the confines of their coop. I still need to do some reenforcing on the run before I let them loose in there. But they are literally not moving. I've got two over next to the food and water and the other four are all together in a nest box. I'm afraid they won't know where the food and water it. Should I just leave them to it or go pick them up and put them next to the food and water? They prefer to not be picked up....

Show them the food and water. If necessary, dip their beaks in them. Then, I would leave them alone.
