Outside temperature for 6 week old pullets

I put mine out in the coop brooder about 10 days ago when they were 3 weeks old. The first couple of nights were cold and I only had a 125 watt bulb, the temp in the brooder got down to 50 degrees one night. They were huddled together but did fine. Now they are over 4 weeks old, it routinely has been 50-55 degrees at night in their brooder an they are still fine. So I think as long as the brooder is free of drafts and they have a bit of warmth if they need it...they'll be fine.

My six six-week-old chicks have been out in their enclosed coop with a door opened for a week, and now, it is 37 degrees F in their coop, and they seem to be doing fine for now. I am trying not to use the lamp (although it's in there) because I want them to be more resilient and hardy. I just think nature, what would they do out there in the wild??? They have their feathers and that's exactly what they have them for. I don't want to spoil them and I think that that's for their own good. I will keep posted on how they do.
