So my babies are a week old on monday... is it ok if I take them out side for a little sunshine time? or should I wait unit them are a bit older....

I would only take them out IF you are using medicated chick starter AND the temperature is over 80 degrees. It has been quite hot here so my two/three week olds have been getting a few minutes of outside time per day.

Exactly what Taz said. And if they start peeping loudly, or piling, they should be taken

back to their brooder.

At a week old, it would have to be fairly warm outside.
