I have Welsh Harlequin ducks, 6 females and 1 male. This spring Curly Richard is very frisky. He has left raw spots on the back neck of several of his hens. I've separated him from the ladies. Is there anything else I can do?
I was wondering about a jacket I can put on the ladies to prevent him from mounting them. In my head i'm picturing the jackets that people put on Chihuahuas to prevent hawks from stealing the little dogs.

They have hen saddles for chicken's, so most likely they have hen saddles for duck's too.

I am having a time with mine as well. I have 5 females and 1 male. He is tireless and he leaves marks on the backs of their necks as well. I separate them too but it’s very short lived. Hopefully you can get more answers to other options.

That’s interesting. I’ve never heard of those!
