Anyone from Overland Park or surrounding cities?

I tried going out last night and driving around to see if I could hear any chickens clucking -- but I couldn't find any.

I am not in Kansas, but just northwest of you in SE Nebraska. My wife has a lot of family in the KC area and we get down there from time to time.

What breeds of chickens do you have or looking for?

There are some others close to you in the KC area on here as well. Hello out there!!

I have 6 mixed breed 2 week old chicks now that came froma coop with Rhode Island Red and Red Star Hen and RIR Rooster and Polish Rooster.

Every chick looks different. I will only end up keeping 2 hens probably -- Have to wait and see how they develop.

I was just looking for peopel who could share simialr expereinces. Also was wonderign about how getting a permit for them went.

I raise exhibition silkies, bantam wyandottes, bantam and standard Salmon Faverolles, Standard Buckeyes, Standard Blue Laced Red Wyandottes.

I can't help you with the permit question as I live in a rural setting with 80 acres and plenty of outbuildings to work with!!

Hello. I'm from Oak Grove. Have lots of animals. Just hatched 18 Narrganasette turkeys. They are about 5 days old. Will be finding homes for them soon.
