i have 4 turkeys that are 6 or 7 months old. 3 are blk Spanish and 1 is bb. one of the blk Spanish hens get so excited that she will fly up to the banister of the porch or on occasion, like today, will fly to the top of my head. she just sits there making hen noises and waits for me to feed her the kitchen scraps. my question is will she continue to be this friendly? how much will a blk Spanish hen weight when grown because i have a 5 years old son that helps me take care of the birds. i am afraid she might try to fly up on him and hurt him. this is my first time raising turkeys to this age.
