Alright I have six runners, they are still under a year. One of my ladies is a bit on the heavy side. Wondering what I should do. Shes also the most aggressive and fastest which makes sense for getting to insects first.

They get food during the day and at night with oyster shells.

They forage during the day and usually get a snack once a day. Its hard for me to tell how much they eat since they are foragers.

Should I remove their food at night? During the day and they only get forage food? It's only pepper that's a bit chunky 🤣

What are you feeding, treats too? They don't need food and water overnight. Oyster shells should be in a separate bowl from the feed. They will use it as needed. Just my opinion When we have layers they need to have feed along with foraging to help them to make strong egg shells and to keep them healthy.

Currently feeding the attached image. The only treats they get are mealworms or peas. I can remove the water and food at night and continue to leave it out during the day (with oyster shells) when they roam. I usually let them roam from 9 AM – 7 PM or dark.

She could not be overweight, she's just visibly larger than my other five.

What makes you think she is over weight? Different birds have different genetic builds. Most laying pulltry are good at regulating their own food especially when fed a balanced diet
You could totally be right, she's just larger than the rest.

I have Runner females who look heavier than their sisters that hatched at the same time. Main thing is not to over do with the treats.
