owning flight mallards

i was tring to find out if u need a permit to own flight mallards in illinois.

Know you don't need the federal permit for mallards.........not sure for your state permits

alright thanks. i called the dnr and they don't even no about the state permit for flying mallards. now if i can find out if i need a federal permit for quail i know i need a state permit for them.

no on the federal permit for quail , thats a state by state law...same for pheasants
