I have had chickens (hens only) for a few years, mostly in an old neighborhood where my neighbors didn't care. I thought when I had purchased them, that it was allowed, as long as no roosters present.
I have moved, and did purchase a couple of hens, about the time the Texas Law allowed "6 backyard hens", even within an HOA. I don't know where to find the link to check on this. I had it, but have lost it. I had 2 hens, and one died, so I'm needing to find two friends for my Silkie. So before I did that, I just wanted to go over the law/ruling again.
When I found a forum to ask questions, I was redirected to a FAQ site which wanted to charge me $5 for their lawyer services.
Please give advice.
