Does anybody know:
If you use (unactivated) Oxine AH to disinfect the coop and keep fungus at bay, are the chickens' eggs still safe to eat?
We have a hen that had to go to the vet tonight for an upper respiratory fungal infection. This has me thinking of disinfecting periodically with Oxine -- since we live in FL, with lots of heat and humidity, that's probably a good idea anyway -- but I am not sure whether we would have to toss eggs when we do that, and if so for how long... Anybody know? I haven't been able to find an answer on that. :/
