When should I start feeding them oyster shell? They are 14 1/2 weeks now.

You don't necessarily ever need to feed oyster shells. I never have. A commercially prepared layer feed will have a high Ca content. It should be sufficient for quality egg formation. If it's not because you feed treats or a feed with insufficient Ca than you need to add some. I provide additional Ca by feeding back the egg shells plus I have really hard water.
