Oyster shells

I have bought a pack of oyster shells and mixed it in with my chickens other food and they do not eat the shells.Help!!

The shell pieces tend to be heavier than the feed and will sink to the bottom or be picked around. Offer it in a separate dish, they will eat it as they need it.

well you can also use cottage cheese

do not use cottage cheese because of the lactose in it. Oyster shell is good
