Just signing in for the first time although I am constantly coming to the site for info. Topics are great and extremely helpful. Thanks for starting the site. I have had chickens (again after a long time away) for about 10 years now. Received some older ones from a friend who could no longer care for them. Have since replaced three times. Currently have 2 one year old Australorps, a one year old gorgeous barred rock (special lady), and a reportedly 3 year old Isa brown that needs an attitude adjustment. I recently purchased 5 Frizzle/White Leghorns 6 week olds that REALLY have attitudes. LOL Coming on board to determine sexes on these birds since they were sold to me as all pullets. However, went to the pen a couple of days ago and was met with crowing! So thanks for your expertise and I am glad to be part of the chicken community. Will now go to the HELP sex these birds section.
