Pacing duckling

I rescued my sweet odie about a week ago and she has been so tame and SO affectionate! She actually imprinted on me! Well, today my dad made a whistling noise at her and she has been chirping and acting frantic ever since. Normally she calms down in my hands or if I talk to her but NOTHING will settle her down. She’s acting the same as the day I first got her. I have no idea what to do

It probably sounded like something she heard before you got it, perhaps a noise the mother duck made. Do you have any other ducks? It will need a friend.
