Hey guys, long time no see.
This morning my girls found my rooster, Paco, hiding in our feed shed. I can't find anything physically wrong: no external parasites, wounds, etc. His comb and wattles are very pale and he's lethargic. His crop feels empty.
I'm making up some scrambled eggs to see if he has an appetite and I think I have some vit B complex I can give him.
Any other suggestions?

You can see how pale he is. 😕

I got some nutridrench in him and he ate most of the scrambled egg.

I agree that I would look him over for mites. Permethrin garden dust (Prozap or brands at feed stores can be dusted using a sock. Look again after 7 days and repeat if needed. I also would worm him with Valbazen 1/2 ml orally for a 4-6 pound chicken once and again in 10 days. Or use SafeGuard Liquid Goat Wormer 1/4 ml per pound of weight given orally for 5 consecutive days. Get him drinking fluids and offer food. Are there other roosters who mY be keeping him from food and water?

Ok, thank you. I have safeguard goat dewormer with fenbendazole. Is that the right kind?
He is the only rooster.

I did check him over for mites/lice but I will check again.
