Salutations from the boondocks of Oregon! My name is Karrina and my husband I are brand spanking new to raising chickens. This past weekend we picked up 3 Easter Eggers, a Silkie and a Silver Sebright. Oh, and two messy but-oh-so-adorable ducklings. We also purchased 20 assorted brown egg layers from My Pet Chicken that are to arrive next Thursday. Yes, I realize we're most likely nuts for starting off with so many. I'm sure I'll be asking for ample amounts of advice over the next few weeks/months. I'm just so grateful to have found this website and forum. I look forward to getting to know you all and learning how to raise chickens.
