Paint for inside of new coop ?

What is the latest ideas on white paint for inside of a new coop? I have read Kilz but thought that was primer?
Also plan to paint coop and run Barn Red with white trim, so hoping the white I use can be the white for everything..

I primed with Kilz, 2 coats actually and then finished with a top coat of exterior semi gloss white. I used the same exterior semi gloss white for the outside. Makes the interior very bight and should aid in cleaning.

We used Kilz 2 latex.

I just stopped by my local Sherwin Williams and they sold me some of their top quality($40 a gallon regular price) paint for $5 a gallon.
They had some that was mis tinted. I got some light yellow for the interior of the coop.
Then they sold me some other good paint(regular price $20 or $25 a gallon) though not their best stuff that they wanted rid of for $5 a gallon I picked the color. So I matched the color of my house as best I could from memory. This is for the exterior and both paints were exterior grade.
I just built my coop and was already over my planned budget.
So this cheap paint helped the pocket book.
Just an option for you. Check your local paint store for a mis tinted paint or some other discounted paint.
Of course if you have the budget get what you want this just worked for me.

I had originally stopped at Home Depot and they couldn't do better than $20 and that was for cheap quality paint. Their service seemed less than stellar also.
Then I remembered reading on here where someone recommended checking for discounted paint to save on costs.
It worked out well I guess and the service at the other store was so much better also.

Great idea - I'll check into that and with daughter as to her color She is kind of " in charge " as the chickens have been her dream -

I just painted ours with an exterior latex paint plus primer. Then I used garage/deck paint for the floor. After all my research those seemed the best options.
