My chickens, especially the Bard Rocks pick at the paint on the outside coop wall and eat it; they also will eat pieces of styrofoam or other kinds of small, odd items they find in the chicken yard. Also, I just noticed today that they've been eating rhubarb leaves. I've heard they're poisonous. Will these eating behaviors hurt my chickens?

I have had the same thing happen. I found a bright yellow poop, & then saw a hen pecking yellow paint off the cement foundation of my house. That explained the yellow poop, which had me worried, but then like you I wondered if paint was harmful. Luckily, I have not seen that behavior since (about 2 wks ago).
I hope someone knowledgeable can give us an answer
