Up for auction is 10+ silkie hatching eggs. these eggs are from 2 of my pens that I just changed out the roosters 1 week ago.
The eggs are marked by what the parents are (2 possible dads and what color hens)
the first pen had a young black roo (from paint parents) now the rooster is champagne which also came from a paint parent, these are over splash hens.
The 2nd pen had the same young black roo as pen 1 (all those girls were together, now split up by color) and the current roo is a paint, these are over blue hens. i may also include eggs from my black (dylan's silkies) over paint hens pen to make up the balance of eggs.
fertility has been checked and these pens are laying fertile eggs.
This will be a short auction. Auction will end with the highest bid placed by monday 8:00:59 PM EST(basically you have until the BYC clock changes to 8:01pm to win these)
to check the time of the bid, hover over the time on the upper left of your screen (where it say posted 5 mins ago- it tells you the actual time it was posted). paypal payment needs to be made as soon as the auction ends. eggs will ship out wednesday.
Bidding starts at $30, please place your bids in the reply, not by pm.
my original birds are from Catdance, Sunshine silkies, Kate Morreal, CJ Exotics and more.
i do show my birds and with the standard varies have won BB,BV and my son has won Jr.champion of show x 2. One of the paint hens was judged "best non-typical color in show" by Tom Roebuck.
these birds produce mostly bearded but occasionally they produce a non bearded.
Paints do not breed true- colors you can produce are paint (in black or blue spots), solid blue, solid black, champagne, occasionally splash, partridge and pure white. in my hatches from this yr, I have produced 50% paint, the balance blue and blacks and 2 partridge. of course, your milage may vary. paint chicks can hatch totally white and develop spots up to 5 months after hatch.
I can not be responsable for the eggs once they leave my hands but I pack very well. shipping is $16.00 and I am NPIP. I do not ship to Alaska or HI.
