Going to be painting my "St. Walt's Convent" sign for my coop on a piece of wood that I have yet to find. Just wondering what kind of paint I can use that won't run if it rains etc?? Does this even exist? Do I put some sort of sealant over it when I'm done for protection?

Thanks!

I used to make yard signs for Christmas, Halloween, etc... I found the best paint to use on outside signs is Testers paint. It's used for model cars, planes etc... The craft stores or hobby shops sell it in lots of colors. Acrylic paints work well too, but you have to spray a sealer on them..like Clearcoat in the spray can. Hope this helps.
