We ordered two Delaware pullets along with 9 other chicks from Meyer Hatchery. Ended up with one pullet and one cockerel.
We also have a Salmon Faverolles cockerel that we intentionally purchased so one of the boys has to go.
Because the Delawares are considered a rare breed, we felt that letting this pair go to someone who may want an eventual mating pair to perpetuate the breed would be best.
