These three were all rescued together, the female khaki's upper bill is shorter than her lower but she has adapted well. I have had them for two years and they have always been together so they must be re-homed together. They were young adults when I got them so I do not know their exact age. The female does lay eggs. They are all very shy but the female will follow you around if you have treats or are digging for worms and they do understand "bedtime" and calmly let me herd them back into the run if I want them to go earlier than they go to bed on their own. The only reason I would like to re-home them is the males have taken an interest in mating my muscovy females and I cannot have my hatching eggs producing mule ducks. I also have another rescue bonded pair (call duck female and welsh harlequin male) who are extremely laid back and the two males pick on them and want to injure the call duck. I think it would be best if they joined a flock of other ducks of their own size and kind. Located in south central Pennsylvania in Shippensburg, Pa, about an hour south of Harrisburg.
