The sooner you get your breeding groups together the better. If I had a bunch and wanted them in breeding groups, I would put them in their breeding pens now.

Just put them together. One Drake and a few Hens.

Hi miss Lydia I am not used to this site yet I have 4 pairs I had them all together on a pond now I am pairing them up I have Apricot Blue bibbed Maggie and White

They should be separated at least 3 weeks prior to setting eggs - 4 weeks is even better to guarantee parentage.
