Hello all. I know there is a lot of information on the many things a pale comb could indicate but I was wondering if anyone has specific tips for this case. All 4 of my Barred Plymouth Rocks have had normally yellowish combs with a little red and 3 days ago I noticed one has turned quite pale. (The pullet in foreground of 2nd picture shows their normal yellowish skin color.) Her legs are normally yellow and black and now they are pale pink and black. I can't see any mites or lice but I will try and take a closer look today. I tend toward natural health care and don't want to give her meds without knowing a cause. I was thinking of a dusting of wood ash for the possibility of buggies and just to keep an eye on her and see if her behavior changes. She is eating and drinking and is still with the rest of the flock. She doesn't seem lethargic, though she was restless last night before settling down on the roost. Any thoughts are appreciated.
