I only have two hens. The one in question, Marilyn has never laid much. I've have them since March. The other hen,Snow White, is the boss hen.
;Marilyn has been broody a couple of times. The first was shortly after I got them in March. The last was in August. She laid eggs for about two weeks and then went broody. Her comb was nice and red during the laying,
I know who is laying because Marilyn's eggs are smaller than Snowy's and more olive green. The Snowy's eggs are larger and more of a bluish color. Because Snowy lays more I've seen her get up off an egg or even drop one when she is on the nest and sees me coming.
Both are acting just fine. A check of Marilyn looks ok. No bugs, crop and vent ok.

Here she is!
My main concern is that she has rarely laid eggs. With only two hens it would be nice if both did.
