Well, right now, with all the rain I am getting, and again in the spring when everything melts..... A couple of inches of standing water is probable.
Hokum, I love your ideas, I have metal roofing in my junk piles... But I don't have any vinyl... Hummm
I have lots of wood...but our tiny rodents really can squeeze themselves through the smallest spots. I don't think I am capable of keeping the rodents out.
I am fine with the rodents coming in, I would just prefer if they were some place the ducks can see them, and so hopefully kill them.
They shelters I have been using for them over this summer and fall have been fine, but I am trying to figure out how to house them over the winter and spring.....
Maybe I will built a pallet coop on top of my garden cart. That will get them a little higher up(higher up is also good because of all of my snow).
And the rodents inside the pallet walls....I just live with, I guess? Maybe it would be better to rip the pallets down to only one layer, no areas for rodents to hide.
Yep....pull off second layer of boards on pallets, no rodents in walls.
Thanks for the comments...... It helps me to think through my options.
