There's so much conflicting information on fenbendazole. It's sad, but the FDA is little to no good these days, for humans and animals. It appears when money becomes too much of the equation, consumer interests suffer.
So, I looked overseas. After all, they have sense enough in Europe to ban things like aspartame and GMO wheat, and label for ingredients that big businesses in the States have paid off the FDA to sneak under the radar to us consumers. I don't trust the FDA anymore.

I found this document from the European Medicines Agency, for an aquatic suspension of Panacur. Effective for roundworms, five-day treatment, 7-day withdrawal time for meat birds, and zero withdrawal time for eggs. Check it out, it's an interesting read.

I know worming has been discussed at length already in these forums. But there's a certain peace of mind from knowing you're using a product that has been approved somewhere with an actual recommended dose and product indications. And it's nice to know for sure what your withdrawal time is. When new information about such a product is available, I'd like to think someone will try to share it with as many folks as possible, including me. :)

The FDA hasn't been trustworthy for decades, lol. It is indeed a shame.

I personally prefer natural therapies, but I'm sure your link will help some.

Best wishes.

I am with Chooksforlife I don't trust the FDA...they approve and 5 or 6 years later we have the 1-800 bad drug commercials.....Have you considered a natural wormer? I know that My Pet Chicken sells some organic wormers that you don't have to throw out eggs. I wouldn't worm unless I knew that they had worms....Hope you get the information you are looking for, there is a lot of opinions on this....Have fun, enjoy the chickens!
