Heya, I have a chicken that just hatched 8 chicks yesterday but ever since today she has been panting constantly, it’s 8:30pm and she is panting. Just wondering if this is something I should be worried about or has it got something to do with having a bunch of babies underneath her?

What’s the temperature where you are? You don’t have the mother under a heat lamp right?
You’re more than likely correct. Mom is generating tons of heat right now to keep her babies warm
