Cosmo and Wanda laid 6 eggs. So far we have one confirmed hatch on the 1st of November. Now comes the waiting. They usually hatch one every other day. I don't have any pictures of the baby yet but I'll keep trying.

Well we have 3 babies now. They are ugly and pink but they are going to be so cool to watch grow up. I will get pictures up soon!

Have any of you ever hatched a parakeet in an incubator? After learning some stuff, I would like to do it during the summer break. I would have enough time on my hands to feed it.

I stopped raising parakeets and English Budgies a few years ago when I had two aviaries with over 140 birds per. I think that's was my first sign I was a bird hoarder. I don't have as many chickens, but they do take up a lot more space and eat a whole lot more food. I think if I could find a nice pair though, I'd start up again.
